Urbanization is increasingly rapid in the second decade of the 21st century. It is projected that by 2050 nearly 68% of the world will be urban. Among other things this phenomenal growth means more and more people will need to be moved from one place to the other in the cities. The existing modes of mobility and the policy frameworks that administer them will soon be outdated. It is important that policy makers, corporates connected to urban infrastructure, administrators in the urban development departments, think tanks put their minds together and ideate on the changes that need to be worked out. E-vehicles, autonomous vehicles are likely to be amidst us sooner than it is projected today. Cities and their policy makers will have to do prospective planning sooner than later.
The RightFOLIO’s Conference Transforming Urban Mobility: New Technologies and Policy Frameworks brings together experts in the domains of policy and technology relating to urban mobility. Participants will learn from the experts and update themselves so that they can add critical value to their enterprises. In addition, the Conference offers a great networking opportunity.
